Good For Your Gut
Koji fermented brown rice breakfast pudding.
Meet The Founder
Hi, I'm Dr. Oh. I am a primary care physician and I love to cook. Over the years, I have seen many patients with gut issues who I could not help with conventional western medications. After several appointments with a GI doctor, my patients would come back without any improvements. This frustration led me to find solutions through Koji fermentation. Koji is an ancient probiotic with powerful health benefits for our gut, skin, and immune system. But how do you make it taste good?
After numerous attempts, using my grandmother's recipes, I am happy to report that I created an awesome superfood that also tastes great. I hope you can enjoy it for breakfast, as a snack, or before and after exercise.
-Kathryn Oh, M.D.
All About Koji Fermented Brown Rice
Koji is a FUN-gi, an ancient probiotic with proven health benefits far exceeding that of a bacteria.
Beyond Probiotics
The ancient probiotic known as Koji produces an array of prebiotics, enzymes, vitamins, amino acids and fatty acids essential for maintaining a healthy gut microbiome. They keep our gut flora balanced, aiding in digestion & elimination of waste as well as bolstering our immune system.
Enzymatic Action
The process also generates enzymes that are crucial for gut health. These enzymes help break down food more efficiently, ensuring optimal nutrient absorption and reducing gastrointestinal discomfort.
Anti-Inflammatory
Koji fermentation often results in the formation of compounds with anti-inflammatory properties. These can help reduce gut inflammation, which is crucial in preventing and managing conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
